Murphy Lee Interview

AGE OF 21

In the past few years,  Lee took some time off to create his own label UCME records.  Murphy Lee’s new radio single, “Mad at Me features P.Diddy’s  MTV band,  “Day 26.”  His other  single is garnering rave reviews as an inspirational song that gives hope to children and the youth.  Anyone in the world can relate to Lee’s song the “Age of 21” and be inspired to realize that they can overcome poverty, hardships and loss.

“I want to use my voice to impact the lives of children and young people experiencing difficulties and poverty.  I want my music to help them get through anything or just make them smile,” said Lee.   Lee’s DVD is available to the public on December 16th and his album mixtape is free for everyone.

The album “I’m Free” may be downloaded on his website www.murphderrty.com His national release will be available early next year.  Murphy Lee is currently  doing a holiday toy drive with two charities: The Demetrius Johnson Fund  caters to disadvantaged youth and  Project Ark  is an  AIDS charity that supports children that are affected with HIV/AIDS.

Murphy Lee looks forward to giving his fans new material that is more of a reflection of who he is, a conscious, fun person who would like to make an impact with his music.
