New York, NY, 26 February 2007 Fur design house Orlando New York is excited to announce the launch of their Fall/Winter 2007/08 Collection. Featuring chic coats, jackets, shrugs, boleros, and accessories, the line will be available in luxe furs such as mink, chinchilla, sable and fox. Due out this month, the Fall/Winter 2007/08 Collection will be available directly through Orlando New York.
The line takes inspiration from classic feminine silhouettes, now reinvented with splashes of metallics and bold, bright colors to provide for a modernized look, touch and feel. Having debuted his premier collection last fall to a positive response from the industry, press and customers, designer Orlando Lopez is eager to launch his next collection.
“I am thrilled to be launching my second collection after receiving such a great response from my debut line. I designed this collection to make the woman who wears it look and feel glamorous, beautiful and most of all, unforgettable.”
After fine-tuning his fur skills as Design Director for Ann Dee Goldin of legendary fur house Goldin Feldman, Lopez partnered with fashion stylist Felix Fletcher and started his own label in March of 2006. Since then his eye for design, extensive knowledge of the fur industry and quality production practices (all garments are produced from start to finish right here in New York), have drawn an attentive fan base. Hollywood included, Jessica Simpson wears a piece of the Fall/Winter 2006/07 Collection in her upcoming movie Blonde Ambition.
From Madison Avenue to Avenue A, Orlando New York designs for the distinguished uptown woman, the edgy downtown fashionista, and everyone in between with a passion for fur and a flair for style. And as if taking the fur industry by storm wasn’t enough, Orlando New York also has plans to launch a Women’s Ready-to-Wear Collection focusing on eveningwear within the year.
